1. Scope and operator

This policy applies to the Mane AI mobile application, website and related services (collectively, “Mane AI”). The service is intended primarily for users in the Philippines. “We,” “us” and “our” refer to the operator identified in the app store listing and on the Support page.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Profile details such as a username.
• Cat information such as name, sex, breed, birth date, weight, photos, vaccination and preventive-care records.
• Expense, budget, receipt, store, category and note information.
• Reminder details, support messages and feedback.
• Prompts or images you choose to submit to Mane AI features.

Information collected with permission

• Precise location: when you use Vet Finder, to identify clinics near you and support maps or directions.
• Photos or camera: when you add a cat photo or scan a receipt.
• Notifications: to deliver care reminders you create.

Technical and advertising information

The app or site may receive device type, operating system, app version, IP address, language, crash diagnostics, approximate region, advertising identifiers, ad interactions, consent choices and fraud-prevention signals. Some records are stored locally on your device, including cached vet results and app preferences.

3. How we use information

• Provide profiles, expenses, reminders, galleries, maps, deals and AI-assisted features.
• Find nearby clinics and cache results to reduce repeat requests.
• Process receipt information and respond to user-initiated AI requests.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose problems and improve performance.
• Serve, measure and control advertising in accordance with your consent choices.
• Comply with law, enforce our terms and protect users or the service.

We do not use Mane AI as a medical records system and the service is not a substitute for veterinary care.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We may share limited information with providers that perform services for us. Depending on the feature and build, these may include:

• Supabase for authentication, databases, storage and server functions.
• OpenAI for user-initiated AI processing. Prompts and selected content are sent only when you use an AI feature.
• Google Maps Platform for maps, geocoding, place details and directions.
• Google AdMob and Google AdSense for app or website advertising, measurement, consent and fraud prevention.
• Google Play for app distribution, updates and store services.
• Shopee and TikTok Shop when you open affiliate product links.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information when legally required, during a business transfer, or to protect rights, safety and service integrity. We do not sell cat health records or expense entries for money.

5. Advertising, cookies and affiliate links

Mane AI uses advertising to fund some online features. Rewarded advertising appears only in connection with a disclosed reward. Native, interstitial or app-open advertising may also appear in eligible placements.

Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies, mobile advertising identifiers or similar technologies to serve and measure ads based on prior visits to this or other sites, subject to consent and regional requirements. You can manage personalized advertising through your device settings and Google Ads Settings. Other participating vendors may offer opt-outs through their own sites.

If website advertising is enabled, this site may use first- and third-party cookies for advertising, analytics, frequency control, security and measurement. Where required, ads are not requested until an eligible consent choice is available. Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland will be offered consent controls through a Google-certified consent management platform.

Deal links may be affiliate links. If you buy after opening one, Mane AI may earn a commission without increasing your price.

6. Your choices and rights

• Change camera, photos, location and notification permissions in device settings.
• Manage advertising consent from the app's privacy choices when available, and reset or limit the device advertising identifier.
• Edit or remove cat, expense and reminder information in the app.
• Request access, correction, export or deletion of server-side personal information through the Data Deletion page.
• Clear locally stored information by using in-app controls or uninstalling the app, noting that uninstalling may not remove server-side records.

Rights vary by location. We may verify a request and retain limited information where required for security, fraud prevention or law.

7. Retention, international processing and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described, while an account or session is active, or as required by law. Local information remains until you remove it, clear app data or uninstall. Cached vet results may be refreshed or removed automatically. Providers may process information outside the Philippines; where required, safeguards are used for cross-border processing.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures, including restricted server keys and encrypted network transport. No method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Mane AI is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so we can review and delete it. Parents and guardians should supervise minors' use and any advertising or marketplace interactions.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as features, providers or laws change. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice when appropriate. For questions or privacy requests, use the contact method on our Support page or follow the Data Deletion instructions.
